Shaking the Snowglobe

I am currently in Tahoe, and this upcoming Friday am driving out to Salt Lake City to meet up with my old New York roommate and close college friend Alex. We’re staying in an Airbnb with some new friends to ski at Alta for the weekend. On Monday, Alex and I are planning to drive to Moab for some hiking, stay there one night, and then drive over to Taos. Taos is an incredibly special place to me – its been a reunion spot for my college friends for 5 years, and our friend Jack’s parents have been immensely generous to let us stay at their house each year we’ve visited. From Taos I’ll drive up to Frisco, Colorado to meet up with my friend Nick, and from there I’ll head back towards California, sprinkling in some other national park visits and some backcountry skiing in the Eastern Sierra, weather permitting. Notice there are fewer dates and details for the second half of the plan….which is all subject to change! But there’s the makings of a great adventure here and I’m happy I’ll get to be with awesome people throughout it all.
